About Me

I’m proud to call Ward 4 my home, where I’ve been lucky enough to build a community around my young family. With three children of my own - two in school this year (French immersion & kinder) - I’m looking forward to the opportunity to make a difference in our board for all of our students, families and educators.

My professional background started in autism and disability services where I engaged with many families navigating the IEP process, participation with SEAC, building needs-based programming and advocacy work.

I now work in post-secondary education as a professor, student support advisor and curriculum designer. I hold a Masters in psychology with a speciality in identity & inclusion; as well as certifications in Crisis Intervention and counselling.

Outside of work, I spend much of my time supporting those impacted by pregnancy & infant loss. I’ve also had the pleasure of sitting on School Council and volunteering in the classroom at my daughters’ school.

Most importantly, I have the pleasure of watching my three children learn and grow in our home and neighbourhood (I might also provide a little guidance here and there).

I’d be immensely grateful for your vote for Ward 4 Trustee on October 24.
